L.A., Las Vegas, and Paris are some of the most iconic cities in the world. In the real world, a standard snapshot of a fantastic cityscape often turns out less epic than the feeling one has at the moment of the shot. Thus, with an aim to capturing this truer impression of the mind's eye, Christian Stoll shot and composed this series of images. Each one is a composition of up to ten images of the original city, combined with subtle enhancements in post-production. For example, the number of lights in the images has been increased in order to create a more impressive, epic scene, while the original scene was extended in all directions. Still, the elements are kept relatively unrecognizable, to preserve the overall mood with an abstract feeling. One gets the impression that the camera was positioned somewhere very remotely - from a helicopter, perhaps, though this would not be a realistic option.
